Food Shelf
Nutritious Food and Essential Support for Our Community
Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf provides nutritious food and essential personal care items to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Each month, eligible households can receive a five- to seven-day supply of food, helping ensure they have access to the resources needed to maintain their health and well-being.
We proudly serve residents of St. Cloud, St. Augusta, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park. However, our services are available to anyone in need, regardless of where they live. Our goal is to provide compassionate, accessible support to help strengthen individuals, families, and our community.
2026 Income Eligibility Chart (300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines)
Households are eligible if their income is at or below the following:
- 1 Person Household - $47,880
- 2 Person Household - $64,920
- 3 Person Household - $81,960
- 4 Person Household - $99,000
- 5 Person Household - $116,040
- 6 Person Household - $133,080
- 7 Person Household - $150,120
- 8 Person Household - $167,160
*For each additional member, add $17,040 of allowable income.
New to Our Services?
If you are new to Catholic Charities Emergency Services, you can get started by registering online, calling 320-229-4567 and leaving a message, or visiting as a walk-in. Once your registration is completed and reviewed, you’ll be able to access services and schedule future visits. If you do not have an email address, please call our appointment line and a staff member will assist you over the phone.
Foodshelf Elgibility
TEFAP
You will be asked to self-declare your eligibility for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Your household is eligible according to the income chart to the right.
Identification
Identification (ID) is requested but not required. We ask for an ID to distinguish you from others with similar names, but it is never mandatory to access food.

Food Shelf Hours
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Optional Hours for Seniors
(Age 60+)
- 2nd & 4th Tuesday 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Note: Seniors are welcome during all Food Shelf hours. These optional times are offered for your convenience.
Homebound Deliveries
Homebound Food Deliveries offer pre-packed food to individuals who are homebound or in specific situations.
Contact Emergency Services at 320-229-4560 and press option 4 for eligibility and coordination.
